Credit and Collections Manager

Summary The Credit and Collections Manager is responsible for coordinating departmental collection activities, working closely with team members and management to monitor and ensure compliance with collection laws and collection policies. This person must be able to initiate, maintain and grow solid relationships with our supply chain, sales, and finance teams to assess existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities related to account management to minimize operational risk while improving cash flow for Oldcastle Infrastructure. Essential Duties Manage daily credit department operations Lead a team of 3-4 collection specialists and credit administrators Manage and prepare dashboards to monitor key performance indicators Review and approve all credit applications Administration of credit department, including assigned personnel Prepare monthly accounts and customer aging reports for Oldcastle finance department Respond to inquiries from customers, and research/resolve outstanding credit issues Assist in developing new credit policies and procedures Maintain credit invoice and supporting documentation files Review A/Rledger and initiate steps to resolve aged invoices/accounts and customer disputes as required Write credit correspondence. Responsible for all A/R collections and personnel in A/R and collections functions Maintain bond and lien rights Prepare all lien waiver requests from customers Perform analytical review and reporting within Accounts receivable Support ERP and technology upgrade projects related to credit, collections, and A/R as required Other responsibilities as defined from time to time by the Director of Credit & Collections Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of related experience Prior supervisory or management experience a plus Prior Collections and A/Rexperience, including knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
