As a Program Manager (Division Administrator), you will:
Develop and implement a broad transportation safety program in the State focusing on motor carrier issues in order to achieve a measured reduction in fatalities. Assure effective management of the Division's day-to-day operations and directs the implementation of program actions to resolve problems or controversial issues which impede the accomplishment of program objectives. Provide leadership for the Division for motor carrier compliance and enforcement programs such as PRISM, CDL, hazardous materials, MCSAP, ITS/CVO etc. Provide leadership and direction, through subordinate program managers, to a diverse staff of Safety Specialists and support personnel who are performing safety work and grants oversight. Have programmatic oversight and reimbursement approval for all funding managed by the Division under the Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP), including Innovative Technology Deployment and CMV Safety High Priority grants, and the Commercial Driver's License Program Implementation grants. This is an ideal position for a mission focused highway safety professional. Excellent inter-personal skills are required. Some customer service/customer relations experience or a demonstrated ability to relate to all types of personalities in challenging, sometimes contentious, circumstances is essential to success. To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. To qualify for the GS-14 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13 it must include:
Experience developing and implementing transportation safety programs and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs in two or more of the following areas:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
