Health Scientist

As a Health Scientist you will:
Design, oversee, implement, and conduct major scientific surveys/studies or projects to identify and solve public health problems Identify and analyze public health issues and their impact on operations that are critical to the public health community at large Provide technical advice and assistance to national, state and local health agencies and to various other organizations Lead collaboration on programs/projects/studies and coordinates efforts with other program staff, other CDC Centers, Institutes and Offices, other federal agencies, national, State and local health agencies, and private and non-profit organizations, etc. Make presentations at international and national meetings Prepare scientific and other articles and technical reports for publication Perform other duties as assigned Basic
Qualifications:
I have a Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree:
major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(https:
//ope.ed.gov/accreditation/) at the time the degree was obtained. Minimum
Qualifications:
GS-12:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level of difficulty and responsibility in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience planning and conducting scientific surveys/studies or projects to identify and solve public health problems and health hazards. GS-13:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level of difficulty and responsibility in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience designing, overseeing, implementing, and conducting scientific/studies or projects to identify and solve public health problems and health hazards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
