Bentley Systems is seeking a Qlik Developer for our Data Office to assist with the analytical reporting needs of the business. This role will be responsible for helping to maintain and improve our current and future enterprise analytical models, data and reports. The Data Analyst and Developer will also be responsible for creating accurate and meaningful analysis, data visualizations and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView or ThoughtSpot on a recurring basis and as business needs arise.
Location: This position can be located from a home-based office in the US in Eastern time or Central time zone
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Data Office Reporting team to support the data management and reporting needs of the organization.
- Create accurate and meaningful analysis, data visualizations and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView or ThoughtSpot on a recurring basis and as business needs arise.
- Maintain and improve the current and future analytical models, data, and reports that are utilized by the business.
- Contribute innovative ways to visually represent complex data
- Contribute to team process improvement initiatives
- Use analytical skills to troubleshoot & resolve data integrity and reporting issues.
- Work iteratively with the business to understand and accurately deliver on their needs.
- Provide estimates, project and deliverable status, and communicate to managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher degree in computer science, statistics or other analytical field of study
- 3 or more years of data reporting and analysis experience using QlikView and/or Qlik Sense including report and dashboard development, data connectivity and technical problem resolution
- Understand data modelling, dimensional & relational concepts
- Experience in Extract, Transform and Loading process of data
- Experience with SQL, SSMS, Azure
- Excellent problem-solving ability with regards to data discrepancies and script failures
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and project management skills with a keen attention to detail
- Qlik certifications a plus
- Experience with SAP/BW a plus
- ThoughtSpot experience is a plus
