Non-ExemptSUMMARYThe Air/Ocean Import Supervisor is responsible for processing import shipments and leading the import team while coordinating with the customer service group.
The goal will be to achieve high accuracy through our forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.

LC, bank releases, check disbursement)Arrival ConfirmationConfirm J2J/Create JobsValidate BillingResponsible for confirming credit statusGenerate invoiceDemurrage managementResponsible for initiating OS&DIssue in-hand DocumentationArrange DeliveryTransfer files to brokerageResponsible for customer service internally, bookings, documentation, and execution of routing for assigned shipmentsResponsible for assisting department co-workers with problems, issues, and questionsExercises discretion and independent judgment on a regular basis to direct documentation agents to achieve service center goalsResponsible for ensuring highest quality and accuracy of document processingResponsible for customer satisfaction and customer retention by implementing effective service capabilitiesResponsible for adherence to U.

WORK HOURS AND ENVIRONMENTNormal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:
30 AM to 5:
30 PM, however, overtime will often be required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
