IT Contracts Specialist - Atlanta, GAThe opportunity:
The IT Contract Specialist is part of a dynamic team of the WestRock legal department with a mission to deliver top-quality, and cost-conscious legal solutions to business issues, using technology to increase efficiency and outreach.
This individual will collaborate cross functionally with WestRock attorneys and WestRock team members from IT, information security and procurement, in developing and implementing strategies to reduce WestRock's global technology risks, while facilitating the growth of WestRock's global business.
This is a challenging and fulfilling opportunity to assume in a growing organization's best-in-class IT function.
How you will impact WestRock:
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating technology-related sourcing agreements, SaaS agreements and other IT-related agreements.
Providing support to WestRock attorneys, IT, procurement and information security personnel, as well as non-IT business units procuring technology solutions for WestRock.
Working closely with WestRock IT attorneys, and the IT sourcing and IT security teams in developing template agreements and improving processes and efficiencies as well as helping create policies that both protect and strengthen WestRock's IT infrastructure.
What you need to succeed:
At least 5 years' experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
Experience in supporting sourcing and vendor management programs.
Strong project management skills.
Experience with contract review projects.
Knowledge in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel and contract lifecycle management tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communications (written and oral) skills.
Accustomed to performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Works well independently.
Pays close attention to detail.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Applying knowledge necessary to frame, simplify and solve complex issues; focus on identifying root causes to create and communicate practical solutions in a timely and decisive manner.
Privacy and cybersecurity experience is a plus but not required.
Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
