The Senior Vice President of Operations is senior leader responsible for the coordination and implementation for the transactional processing and services to efficiently deliver the VP/GSC products and services sold.
The Senior Vice President of Operations develops and maintains high-performance teams for Fleet Safety, Quality, and best in class customer experience.
How you will impact WestRock:
o Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years related experience o Advanced Degree/MBA preferred o Must have experience as a senior leader, leading companies with verifiable experience managing multi-national business units, experience managing turnkey service models and demonstrated skills in hiring top talent o Skilled at developing high level revenue building strategies that ensures yearly growth o Experienced in public speaking or presenting to key stakeholders o Superior business, financial planning, oral/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills will be expected, as will the ability to effectively monitor organizational performance and implement decisive corrective actions o Ability to effectively monitor organizational performance and implement decisive corrective actions o Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets financial reports, and legal documents o Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community o Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Designs and implements policies, plans and directives, and reports to the President & CEO on matters affecting the operations and welfare of VP/GSC Develops/executes the operational strategy and long term planning that will help maximize performance throughout the organization Directs, coordinates and administers activities across multiple departments and in accordance with VP/GSC's established polices/procedures Provides top leadership to the organization's operational efforts, maximizing organizational partnerships, engaging staff, and driving top performance Directs staff to carry out initiatives, assignments and programs under the approved strategic plan and annual budget Ensures a positive workplace culture of transparency and inclusion, acts as a mentor and leads by example Consistently holds direct reports accountable for performance and upholding VP/GSC's core values Works with President & CEO to direct the development of the strategic plan and assures the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives.
