Job summaryWe've been hard at work developing a new, fully-electric delivery system - Amazon Scout - designed to get packages to customers using autonomous delivery devices.
These devices were created by Amazon, are the size of a small cooler, and roll along sidewalks at a walking pace.
We developed Amazon Scout at our research and development lab in Seattle, ensuring the devices can safely and efficiently navigate around pets, pedestrians and anything else in their path.
About the RoleAs a Scout Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills to support the Scout Field Operations team in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining hardware.
You will have the opportunity to maintain and repair autonomous delivery devices.

Key Job Responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to delivery device hardware Install, maintain and troubleshoot PCB's, LED lighting modules, motors, encoders, relays and sensors Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Amazon Operations facility Track and store department inventory Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours Work at the maintenance facility as well as on site, in the field.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
