Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1988 BMW E28 M5.
The E28 M5 needs little introduction and is a favorite of ours - despite BMW only producing 1200 for the North American market, we have owned and brokered a number of these cars and we are always impressed with just how great they are to drive.
This example was purchased by the current owner from the estate of the original owner in Florida in 2017.
It has undergone an extensive mechanical refurbishment over the past four years with an eye towards addressing any old or worn items along with some nice performance upgrades.
It was repainted under prior ownership and shows to a nice standard; we believe the bumpers were changed to the Euro-style units at that time.
There are no accidents on the CarFax report, but two body panels are missing their original VIN stickers.
The interior shows to a nice standard with a crack-free dash.
The outer front seat bolsters have been replaced and the original leather shows some light wear.
The list of recent documented service and upgrades is extensive and included a tune up, injectors, valve adjustment, Korman headers, stainless Supersprint exhaust, power antenna, battery, lenses, speakers, trunk seal, seat belt receivers, UUC short shifter, complete A/C overhaul with new compressor and evaporator, power steering pump reseal, brake accumulator and booster, steering and suspension bushing rebuild including subframe bushings, thermostat and many cooling and intake hoses, Bilstein shocks front and rear (SLS delete), brake system rebuild with 320mm Brembo GT front upgrade, new BBS RGR wheels with new Michelin Pilot sport tires, alignment and more.

As these cars age, it's becoming increasingly common for them to need many of these items - it's nice that they have been addressed on this example making it road ready.
