Finished in the great period color of Grenoble Green, aside from a few touched-up areas this Scout remains mostly in original paint.
There are plenty of minor blemishes throughout but the body is largely straight and solid.
White wagon wheels are wearing good tires with 2019 date codes.
Search light mounted through the roof.
Like all Scouts, the white hard top is removable.
Interior retains its original rear bench seat, steering wheel and vinyl floor covering, plus aftermarket front seats and a padded roll bar.
In 1976, the Scout II became the first American-made SUV powered by a Diesel engine with the available Nissan SD33 (the early engines were painted yellow and co-branded with Chrysler - crazy stuff driven by the gas crisis).
The 3.
3 liter six-cylinder Diesel engine runs well and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
This Scout is optioned with power steering and power brakes (front disk).
