For Sale: 1997 BMW M3 in Atlanta, Georgia for sale in Atlanta, GA
Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1997 BMW E36 M3 Euro/ROW six-speed coupe.
This M3 was recently imported from Japan and is a very nice example with 114,000 kilometers (70,000 miles).
It is finished in Dakar Yellow over black leather Vaders.
It remains in mostly stock and unmolested condition - an aftermarket head unit and exhaust are the only observed modifications.
Obviously what makes this car so desirable is the S50B32 engine and six-speed manual transmission - something we never got in the North American market, and good for an additional 80 horsepower over a US-spec E36 M3.
Other subtle but unique differences on this Japanese-market E36 include factory wood trim on the upper door panels, keys with integrated keyless entry, glass headlights with height adjustment switch, clear corner lights and the inclusion of a warning triangle and first aid kit.
Factory 17-inch Style 39 wheels are wearing matching Falken tires with good tread remaining.
Condition overall is very good; it is obvious that this example has been well cared for and garaged throughout its life.
We believe the Dakar Yellow paint to be original and the finish is excellent over a damage- and corrosion-free body.
Exterior rubbers and trim are also excellent.
The interior shows only light wear and the leather seating surfaces remain supple.
This M3 runs and drives great; it pulls noticeably harder than a US S52-powered example.
An extensively stamped service book (in Japanese), both keys, books, tools and matching spare are included.
Late (9/97) production.
Clear Georgia title and import documentation.
This M3 is located in our Savannah facility.
Only recently eligible for import, there are very few Euro-spec late E36 M3s in the US.
