Includes Original Hardshell Case. $7599 FREE USA SHIPPING 1990 Stelling Sunflower Deluxe 5 string Banjo This is a gorgeous Gold Plated and Engraved Stelling Sunflower. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE A 7 DAY FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE Description Stelling Banjos are some of the finest instruments ever built and Geoff Stelling has gotten older and is not making as many banjos. His banjos have gotten extremely hard to find and we are hunting everywhere just to keep them available. This is one of the nicest examples of a Stelling Banjo that can be found.This has a curly maple neck and resonator with Gold and Engraved Hardware. Everything on the metal is engraved and this is a truly stunning banjo. The fretboard is ebony and features the Stelling Sunflower inlay. The headstock also has inlay work including the Stelling logo and an abalone truss rod cover. There is w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator which has slightly yellowed. This is all original except for a pair of Gold Schaller D Tuners. I am kidding in no way when I say this is fully engraved and there are several pictures to show off this high level of engraving. The banjo also comes with the original Stelling Hardshell Case. Condition This banjo is in phenomenal shape and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse. The neck and resonator overall look great with some mild scuffing on the resonator and a couple of small nicks on the back of the neck which are pictured. The fretboard and frets are also in great shape and there are spikes at frets 7,9 and 10.The banjo has been disassembled and all of the gold has been cleaned to a nice shine. This banjo is truly gorgeous. The case is in great shape with minimal signs of wear on the outside and almost no wear on the inside. Set Up This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta. This has a Huber Frosted Head by Remo which is set to 90. The bridge is a new Huber Bridge which is set with correct intonation. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this is set with great playing action. The banjo plays great and produces some fantastic tone.Any Stelling Banjo has become special and more difficult to find but especially one of this calibre.
