Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 2007 Porsche 911 (997) Carrera S Cabriolet art car, a very special painted Porsche with an interesting history.
In 2015 a California Porschephile and art collector approached famed Bay Area artist Jonathan Matas to purchase a painting.
He arrived to the meeting in his black 997 Cabriolet - and although it had not been their initial intent, the pair ultimately decided that Matas would use the Porsche itself as his next canvas, then offer the resulting artwork in a charity auction.
Over the course of several months Matas worked on the piece that would become Document of Energy:
The Immeasurable Display of Phenomena.
An Atlanta-based Porsche and art collector acquired this car in 2016, then shipped it to the Porsche Cars North America headquarters here in Atlanta.
After its arrival at PCNA where it was received and enjoyed, it went on to be utilized by its current owner in multiple shows and events.
It was also featured on a Caffeine and Octane TV episode.
Service under current ownership (and within the last 500 miles) has included new tires, battery, window motor and front brakes.
An oil service and inspection were just completed by the dealer.
This example is in excellent mechanical condition and the interior remains in very good original condition.
The exterior was professionally clear coated after Matas completed his work to protect it.
A clean CarFax report with no accidents, service records, tools and air pump are included.
