This 1974 VW 1600CC , 4 speed manual , has always been garaged for the past 15 years.
Smooth engine and fun to drive, this is a very reliable car.
Minor rust below the passenger side bottom edge and some on driver s upper edge close to side mirror.
, Very reasonable for a car of this age.
NO WRECKS,NO BONDO filling anywhere.
Some paint imperfections on the front hood not easily displayed on pictures.
I will add more specific pics to show rust and paint issues.
The interior is nicely done with a two tone removable seat covers , red custom made floor mats were added, and the original steering wheel was replaced with a classic wood wheel.
(original steering wheel will be given with the sale as well as a new set of hub caps and rings, 2 brand new speakers not installed and some extra rubber seals) Work done in the past includes :
new battery cables , carpet replacement ,electronic ignition , new muffler and tips ,new alternator, headlights, floor repaired, engine rubber, door rubber replaced , all door handles and ignition locks repaired, interior door and quarter panels replaced, driver door window regulator R&R , a VW tool kit is also available.
Due to my average yearly driving of 1000 miles only , the oil is replaced twice a year in order to maintain good clean oil.
However the engine still marks the territory when the car sits and is not driving for a while Most recent repairs were a replacement of left brake line, and rear fuel hose.
Last tuned up done 03/21.
