For Sale: 1971 Land Rover Series IIA in Atlanta, Georgia for sale in Atlanta, GA

Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1971 Land Rover Series IIA 109 pickup.
This 109 was originally stationed in Antwerp, Belgium as a military ambulance, though it reportedly spent most if its career parked under a Quonset hut and didn't see any combat, which is reflected in the overall good condition of the body.
This rugged Rover has been under current ownership here in Atlanta for several years now, and used primarily as a fun around-town car.
Under the bonnet is the 2.
25 liter inline-four cylinder gasoline engine, which runs smoothly and has been recently serviced with fluid changes, a belt adjustment, rear main seal, and an oil pan gasket.
It's mated to a four-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case.
A new clutch slave cylinder was fitted during the recent service along with new lines.
Brakes lines were replaced as well.
Refinished in its current shade of green under present ownership, the paint shows nicely and the body is straight.
The front seats are finished in black vinyl and the rear benches have been upholstered in Land Rover logo fabric.
A hi-lift jack is mounted behind the front seats.
The canvas top is discolored from being pressure washed, but a new one has been ordered and will go with the truck at the time of sale.
These early Land Rovers are tough, cool, and easy to own.
Perfectly suited for local driving, but they're just as happy put to work on a farm or hunting property.
