This rare Trans Am has been owned by the same family since it was purchased new (the present owner is the niece of the original owner) and it is being offered for sale publicly for the first time since 1974.
Both the engine and transmission are the original, numbers-matching components and we believe the mileage, at just under 52,000, to be original, as well.
Only 212 units with the Super Duty 455 paired with a four-speed manual transmission were produced, making this among the rarest and most desirable Firebirds available.
Finished in the very attractive color combination of Admiralty Blue over red interior, paint and body present to a nice standard throughout.
Excellent original underside with no evidence of rust or prior repair.
This car was originally purchased by the present owner's uncle in New Jersey, but it was always a second car for him which he used as a nice weather weekend driver and put away during the winter.
It has been in Georgia for nearly two decades.
