Includes Hardshell Case. $599 FREE USA SHIPPING Vintage Epiphone 5 string Banjo w Original Case MADE IN JAPAN This is a clean Epiphone 5 string Banjo that was Made in Japan and happens to have the original case! This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE FREE USA SHIPPING AND A 7 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE Description This would have been an intermediate level banjo in the 1970's and this would be a good starter banjo.This has a mahogany resonator and neck with nickel hardware. The fretboard is rosewood and has dot position markers. This has white binding on each side of the neck and resonator and Epiphone is inlaid on the top of the headstock. The banjo is all original except for all new upgraded geared tuners which is another really nice plus. Finally this has the original case with an Epiphone badge on the front. This is a great example of an all original Vintage Japanese Banjo.Vintage Japanese Banjos are becoming collectable and there is a really cool Facebook group for them. Check out Vintage Banjos Made in Japan on Facebook. Condition This has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse. We disassembled the banjo and buffed the metal with a high powered buffer and it really shines. We also waxed the wood and oiled the fretboard. This banjo basically looks new and is in aweseome shape! The neck and fretboard are also clean and the frets look wonderful. In addition the original case is clean, sturdy and functional. Set Up This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse also. This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is a Grover Bridge and this has correct intonation. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely. This also is adjustable.With Christmas coming up this could be an incredible gift for a beginner or someone that wants a well set up banjo.
