For Sale: 1963 Volkswagen Beetle in Atlanta, Georgia for sale in Atlanta, GA

1 of 48
Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, finished in Ruby Red over a platinum (off-white) interior.
Hailing from Oak Harbor, Washington originally, this Beetle was brought to Atlanta by its current enthusiast owner in 1998 and subsequently restored in the summer of 2006.
A photo album documenting the restoration accompanies the car.
A 1200cc flat four is tucked tidily under the engine lid and is mated to a four speed manual transaxle.
The motor starts easily and runs well, and the gearbox shifts smoothly through all gears.
Recent service to the brakes ensures even and responsive stopping.
This well-sorted Beetle offers a delightful driving experience.
The Ruby Red paint shows to a nice driver standard and is accentuated by color matched wheels and white welt between the body and fenders.
The chrome bumpers and brightwork are in good shape.
VW logo mud flaps adorn the rear fenders and the headlights are fitted with a set of eyebrows.
The platinum interior was redone during restoration, but looks like it could have been installed yesterday.
Red color-matched lap belts are a tasteful addition and the latches wear the same Wolfsburg crest that appears on the horn button and the hood.
