Vehicle Description Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 International Harvester Scout II.
This Scout has a great look and lots of nice upgrades.
It is finished in charcoal metallic with grey and black interior and powered by a 345 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor and a four-speed manual transmission.
We have a three-page spreadsheet of recent upgrades and repairs, but to hit on the high points Six-point custom roll cage, Rough Country lift, custom bumpers with tire carrier on the rear and Smittybuilt winch on the front, 35x12.
50 tires on Pro Comp wheels in like new condition, front end rebuild, Detroit locker, upgraded lighting inside and out, bucket seats with integrated seatbelts, class three trailer hitch and brake controller, numerous engine and drivetrain service items and upgrades the list goes on and on (contact us and we'll send it over).
The Softopper soft top is in excellent condition and the interior shows to a good, ready-for-anything standard with a Raptor spray in bed liner and attractive two-tone upholstery.
This Scout starts easily and runs great - it feels well sorted overall.
The paint is presentable but was not done to a show-quality standard and has some flaws throughout.
Rocker and floor pan replacement along with some other body rust repair was carried out by a previous owner; the inner rockers were not addressed and have some rust, along with a few small bubbles on the driver's side rear quarter.
We would consider these flaws to be minor and non-structural (and details that would only be noticed by a Scout expert).
Overall this truck has a great look and tens of thousands of dollars invested in recent service and upgrades.
