Includes Deering Hardshell Case. $4499 2004 Gibson Granada five string Banjo This is a very clean 2004 Granada Banjo. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta. ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE A seven DAY FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE Description This has a three ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple resonator. The hardware is gold and engraved. The neck is also curly maple with a rosewood fretboard. This has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern and w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The arm rest is a 1 piece engraved armrest and the tailpiece is a gold engraved Presto. two of the screws for the L brackets are not original and this also has a non original washer 1 of the coordinator rods. Everything else is original. This has a Deering Hardshell Case. Condition This is in excellent shape all the way around. The finish is clean and looks incredible. The hardware is also clean and has a nice glow to it. The neck and fretboard are both clean with frets that are in terrific shape. There is a bit of wear on the 1st few frets but only on the 1st few and this does not create any buzz. There are spikes at the seventh, ninth and 10th frets. This is a very clean and very attractive banjo with a hardshell case that is also in great shape. Set Up This has been professionally set up here at the shop. This has a new Huber frosted head by Remo which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith bridge and this has new Huber Truetone.10 gauge strings. The action is set nicely and is adjustable and this has correct intonation. This is a fantastic example of a Granada that is priced exactly where a player can get a stellar banjo at a stellar price.
