Includes Superior Hardshell Case. $3999 FREE USA SHIPPING Pre War Gibson TB11 to TB3 5 string conversion Parts Banjo This is a really cool TB11 Banjo that has been reskinned with a mahogany resonator and converted to a 5 string. This is basically now a TB3 conversion. The banjo has been inspected at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta. ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE FREE USA SHIPPING AND A 7 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE Description This is a TB11 resonator and shell that has a lot of high quality parts and a new mahogany veneer on the resonator. This is definitely a quality banjo.The shell is a TB11 shell and the neck is a Davis curly maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has Hearts and Flowers. The hardware is all new Huber Hardware made by Prucha. This includes a one piece flange and a Huber HR30 tone ring that was fit by Steve Huber. The armrest is a one piece armrest and the tailpiece is a Prucha tailpiece.It is hard to put a title on an item like this but considering the rim and resonator are pre war (one piece flange no less), and the resonator is now mahogany I am calling this a Pre War TB11 to TB3 conversion. The fact the hardware is all Huber including the HR30 ring only help. This also includes a hardshell case. Condition This is in fantastic shape which makes sense considering most of this banjo is new. All of the metal is new Prucha hardware so it is mint. The neck is a new Davis neck, also mint and the frets are perfect. The mahogany skin on the resonator is basically new and that looks fantastic also. This is super clean and includes a clean hardshell case. One of the latches on the case broke off but that effects nothing, the case is new otherwise. Set Up This has been set up by Steve Huber. The head is a new Huber frosted head which is set to 88. The bridge and strings are also new Huber parts, the strings are Truetone .10's. This is a powerful banjo that has been assembled and set up by Steve Huber to bring out it's peak performance.
